Paper Club is almost over and to finish out the rest of this beautiful summer, I'll be holding a 4-week workshop focused on trending scrapbooking techniques.

Using the new Autumn/Winter CTMH products, I will be teaching a 4 week class of 4 different techniques that you can use on your everyday scrapbook and card projects.

Baby and Crafting

With 2 weeks to go till baby arrives, I haven't slowed down yet with my Workshops and Club projects. 

Next month for Club we will create a 3 panel canvas home décor piece. 

Each Club member will have the option to choose their own colors to match their home. 

Colors I used are Honey, Barn Red, and Olive.  Papers shown are part of the For Always CTMH paper pack and the stamps are Floral Happiness; SOTM from March.

For my project using the CTMH Home Sweet Home Stamp of the Month and the paper packet called Clementine and some new amazing products from the new Idea Book for Spring/Summer 2013 I created 2 wall signs. 

For the top sign I used the Pigment inks in Saddle and Twilight to create the stamped image on the chipboard. For the details I used the beautiful Clementine Complements Canvas Shapes and the NEW Wooden Mini-Medley Accents. 

 

In this photo you can see the details even on the mini-clothespins! So cute!

 

 On this second sign I made a photo mat using the Clementine Papers and more of the Canvas Shapes.

Stuido J Layouts from Maine

Last month my family and I went on a small vacation north to Maine.  We had such a nice time!  We were able to do some great things and I wanted to share my StudioJ layouts. 

The top 3 layouts are part of the NEW Studio J Express Collections.  The layouts were complete, title and all and the only things I had to do were drag and drop my photos and add my journaling!!

Blog Hop: August SOTM

Welcome to our August CTMH Stamp of the Month Blog Hop! Each month we will showcase the Stamp of the Month which can be purchased exclusively through CTMH.

My project is a birthday card using all Close To My Heart products. 

I randomed stamped on the right side of the card with the big corner border stamp and used the fan looking image to do a border just above where the new Burlap Ribbon was placed.  The paper pack used is the new Clementine that correspond with the Durable Studs.  Colors used are Saddle, Outdoor Denim, and Desert Sand.  To make the pennant with my sentiment I used the canvas shapes that correspond with the Cricut Art Philosohpy Cartridge.

Another Pinterest Inspiration

Awhile back I found this sweet bookshelf/hammock for books in a kids room. 



I found it through pinterest but posted by Penny Carnival  

Recently, my 2 year old son upgraded to his big brother's bottom bunk and we made room after taking out the toddler bed.  With the empty wall, I made this 46.5" long fabric double, bookshelf. 

I nailed in the back of the fabric in wall, then used heavy duty hooks screwed into the wall for the different levels for the 2 dowels.  It looks great and we were able to get rid of a box that held all those books. 

We put the shelf pretty low to the floor too, so that our youngest can reach his story books!
